We collect and use the following information to provide, improve, and protect our Services:

Account

We collect and associate with your account information such as your name, email, phone number, payment information, and physical address. Some of our services allow you to access your accounts and information held with other service providers.

Services

When you use our Services, we store, process, and transmit your files (including images, structured data, and emails) and information related to them. If you give us access to your contacts, we will store them on our servers so you can use them. We do not use your contact, originally provided, for marketing purposes—neither ours nor our partners’. This means that when using our platform you will not receive advertisements in your mailing.

Usage

We collect information about the devices with which you access the Services, including your IP address, browser and device type, the web page you visited before accessing our sites, and identifiers associated with your devices. Depending on how they are configured, your devices may also transmit information about your location to the Services.

Midiacode/Ooniverse for Business Administrators

If you are a corporate user of Midiacode/Ooniverse, your account administrator may access and control your account. In case of doubt, we recommend you consult your employer’s internal policies. If you are not a corporate Midiacode/Ooniverse user but interact with service users (for example, by entering a shared Midiacode/Ooniverse or by accessing files shared by the user), the members of the publishing organization will only be able to see your name, email, and IP address associated with your account at the time of interaction if they request such data.

Legal purposes

We may disclose your information to third parties if we determine that disclosure is reasonably necessary to (a) comply with the law; (b) protect any person from death or serious bodily injury; (c) prevent fraud or abuse of Midiacode/Ooniverse or our users; or (d) protect the property rights of Midiacode/Ooniverse. Protecting your data is fundamental to us and is a responsibility we gladly accept. We believe that our users’ data should receive the same legal protection regardless of whether it is stored on our services or on your personal computer’s hard drive.
